MAC Plaster Spray Applied Finish is designed specifically as the fine-textured finish for USG Ensemble™ Acoustical Plasterboard Ceiling.

We offer finishing options for the acoustical gypsum board ceiling systems. For contractors that want special finishing materials to achieve a specific finishing quality, we can provide this. Our finishing solutions are a unique, sound-rated interior spray applied texture finish for ceilings and other non-contact surfaces like basecoat plaster, concrete, metal decks, and gypsum panels. MAC (Monolithic Acoustiseal Ceiling) Spray Applied Finish is clear spray-applied finishes with specifically formulated low shrinkage joint compounds for acoustical plasterboard ceilings. Using a pneumatic spray, we apply all of our finishes, giving them a smooth texture and exquisite finish. available in a range of colors.

A texture sprayer, an air compressor, and a spray gun will be needed to apply the MAC Plaster Spray Applied Finish over the USG Ensemble™ Acoustical Plasterboard Ceiling. Equipment specifications are detailed in the USG Ensemble Acoustical Plasterboard Ceiling Installation Guide.

  • For use only with USG Ensemble™ Acoustical Plasterboard Ceiling panels.
  • Not for use in areas subject to surface contact.
  • Cannot be painted without negatively affecting acoustical performance code requirements.
  • Cannot be applied directly to metal with powder-coated finishes without proper surface preparation
