On request, two layers of higher grade (2x125mm) gypsum plasterboard made in line with EN 520 are utilized. Different types of common tiles can be used to tile the panel cover surface. An externally facing visible joint spacing of 3–4 mm is preserved throughout. A silicon spacer profile utilized as a support and seal for the panel cover at the bottom of the mounting frame stops the panel cover from sinking.
A safety steel rope ensures that the flap cover will catch with each opening. The flap lid can be entirely taken off after the carabiner has been unlocked. Two additional safety arms are supplied as a catch between the flap lid and mounting frame for flaps that have a height higher than 650mm and significant weight.
